Lessons

There are several instructors at Chile’s barn who offer private and group lessons for beginners to advanced Hunter/Jumpers. New students are placed according to ability and experience. New Boarders and haul-ins are welcome or lessons are currently offered on one of Chile’s ten school horses.

Lesson Requirements

Hunt caps and boots with heels are mandatory when mounted! We will provide riding helmets, but encourage students to purchase their own for safety and convenience. Paddock boots and chaps or boots and breeches are preferred when riding. Jodphur pants and paddock boots are appropriate for young children. Please feel free to get input from your instructor after a few lessons. We want you to be safe and comfortable so you can enjoy your ride time!
